The new BriskBard 4.1 adds support for many new web technologies thanks to new runtime mode in CEF. The web browser tabs using Blink now use the integrated interface to find text, select user certificates, show message boxes, etc.

This is the complete list of changes in BriskBard 4.1 :

  • The Blink rendering engine for the Chromium tabs has been upgraded to 125.0.6422.112.
  • The WebView2 tabs now use the loader version 1.0.2535.41.
  • Enabled the new CEF runtime mode in web browser tabs.
  • Added configuration settings to handle permission requests in web browser tabs using WebView2.
  • Now the status bar shows a progress bar when the browser connects to the Tor network.
  • The Indy, Tor and SQLite components have been updated to the latest versions.
  • The Ad blocker server list has been updated.
  • Bug fixes :
    • Fixed a resizing issue in the web browser configuration.
    • Fixed overlay scroll bars in web browser tabs using WebView2.
